Scala Compiler/Tooling Engineer @ VirtusLab
I'm a Scala Compiler Engineer at VirtusLab, but also involved in Bazel/Scala related tooling. During majority of my commercial experience I was mostly involved in Scala Open Source initiatives on daily basis.
Most of my work involves close cooperation with Martin Odersky, EPFL/LAMP, and Scala Center in improving Scala. My specialization in Scala Native - the LLVM based compiler and runtime for Scala language.
In this talk, I will present insights from running the Open Community Build, where we continuously build and migrate nearly 2,000 open-source projects to the newest Scala Next versions, from scratch, every week.
